About imagedimensionfinder.com

Image Dimension Finder does one small job: drop an image and read its width and height in pixels, and what that means in inches, centimetres and millimetres at common print resolutions. It handles the usual formats, including HEIC from iPhones where the browser allows it. The image is read on your device and never uploaded. It exists for the moment a form asks for a photo of exact dimensions and you have no idea what yours are.

Who

imagedimensionfinder.com is built and looked after by Saurav Kumar Sharma, an independent developer in India. There is no company behind it and no team; if something breaks, the person who fixes it is the person who wrote it.

How it is built

Everything on this site runs inside your browser. Files you open stay on your device; there is no upload step and no server that could keep a copy. Drafts of the written guides are prepared with software help and then edited by hand; the measurements and examples come from running the tool.
